Hoolia’s recurring themes are Portraits, Trees, Sacred Geometry and everyday use crafts.
“My favourites… I obviously can’t upload ALL the work I’ve done over the years, so here a selection.. All made between the 1999 and now, but my most productive years in the Visual Arts front were from 1997 till 2007.
Although I’ve been trained in classical Fine Arts techniques, I enjoy producing Art to fit our everyday life, the type of Art we live with, touch, sit and step on… In our own home we can express ourselves fully through the way we arrange and decorate.. We can greatly benefit from being mindful of what we surround ourselves with..
Most of these pieces belong now to private and public collections in Argentina and Australia… (I might have kept a few!)”.

Portraits I made of people I knew.. Some were commissions..

Portraits of people who don’t actually exist… Well, they do now!

Quick portrait sketches from photographs..

Imaginary people doing imaginary things…

Lots and Lots of TREES
For a few years I fell in love with drawing trees… I had a few solo exhibitions of trees and I also make greeting cards of trees and more trees… I don’t think I’ll ever stop as I find it meditative and the symbolic aspect quite grounding… Family, Roots, Resources, Branching, Fruitful, Soul… Nature..
